De Zerbi faces Premier League dilemma as Spurs linger at foot of the table

After a three‑week international break, Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action having failed to win any of their opening five matches and currently sit bottom of the table.

The lack of points has sparked a growing concern among supporters and pundits, with the club’s early season form far below the expectations set for a side managed by Francesco De Zerbi.

According to BBC Sport, the key question now is whether the squad simply has not yet gelled under De Zerbi’s philosophy or if the same recurring issues that plagued the team last season are resurfacing.

With the season still in its infancy, the manager faces a crucial period to reverse the trend, and the club must decide quickly if a relegation battle is looming once again.
