Real Madrid eye Scott McTominay as Armstrong nears new deal

According to BBC Sport, Real Madrid are reportedly keeping a watch on Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay as part of their ongoing scouting efforts.

McTominay, who has featured for Manchester United and the Scotland national team, is said to be on the Spanish giants' radar, although no formal approach has been confirmed.

Real have been active in the market this summer, adding several midfield options, and McTominay is viewed as a versatile player who can contribute both defensively and offensively.

At the same time, fellow Scot Danny Armstrong is reported to be close to signing a new contract with Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest, a move that would keep him in Bucharest for the coming season.

Both stories remain in the realm of transfer speculation, with neither club nor player releasing an official comment.
