Ronaldo walks out on Portugal duty amid leaked text exchange

According to Mirror Football, Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal’s training camp in the middle of the international break, prompting questions about his commitment ahead of upcoming fixtures.

The incident gained further attention after a private text message, described as “brutal,” was leaked to the public. The message, addressed to Simon Jordan, contained strong language and criticism, though the exact wording has not been officially released.

Portugal’s federation has not commented on the specifics of the text or the reasons behind Ronaldo’s departure, but the episode adds to a string of off‑field distractions surrounding the star forward.

Fans and pundits are now watching closely to see how the situation will be resolved before the next set of qualifying matches, with the focus remaining on whether Ronaldo will rejoin the squad in time.
