JJ Gabriel Set to Cost £8.5m as Family Holds to Plan After Talks with Four Clubs

JJ Gabriel continues to train away from Manchester United after his request to leave the club sent shockwaves through Old Trafford, according to Mirror Football.

The 21‑year‑old striker’s family has met with representatives from four clubs, insisting they stick to a pre‑agreed plan that includes a transfer fee of around £8.5 million. Sources say the discussions are still in early stages and no formal offer has yet been submitted.

United have confirmed that Gabriel remains under contract and is welcomed back to training at any time, but the player’s desire for a new challenge appears to be firm. The club’s hierarchy is reportedly evaluating its options while also considering the impact on the squad’s depth.

If the £8.5 million figure is agreed, it would represent a modest sum for a forward of Gabriel’s age and potential. Both parties appear keen to reach an arrangement before the summer transfer window closes.
