Leeds sign Manchester City and England goalkeeper Trafford in up to £45m deal

Leeds United have signed Manchester City and England goalkeeper James Trafford in a transfer that could be worth up to £45m.

According to BBC Sport, the agreement includes add-ons that could take the total fee to that figure. Trafford arrives at Elland Road having come through the youth ranks at Manchester City.

The England international had been linked with several clubs, including Manchester United, but Leeds have moved quickly to secure his signature. He will now compete for a starting spot as Leeds look to strengthen their squad.
