Alexia Putellas: ‘I’m hungry to win’ as she takes on new WSL challenge

The two-time Ballon d’Or winner and four-time Champions League winner explained why she traded the prestige of Barcelona, where she spent 14 trophy-laden years, for a club that finished 22 points adrift of European qualification last season. “I’m hungry to win, to fight with my teammates for victory,” she said, in comments reported by The Guardian.
