Rush urges Liverpool to give Iraola time to succeed

Liverpool great Ian Rush has backed new manager Andoni Iraola to succeed at Anfield, while insisting the Basque coach should still aim for trophies in his first season, according to BBC Sport.

Rush believes Iraola will need patience from the club and supporters as he adapts to the demands of managing a side of Liverpool's stature. The former striker stressed that long-term progress should not be sacrificed for immediate results.
