Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, with the Turkish club disclosing the financial details to the stock exchange. According to The Guardian, the former Liverpool striker will earn upwards of €17m (£14.5m) per season.
The announcement came as Trabzonspor fans prepared to gather at the stadium for a ceremony to mark the 34-year-old's arrival. Salah landed in Istanbul in the club's kit a day earlier, completing a free transfer after his departure from Liverpool.
Beyond his salary, the Egypt international will also receive 20% of revenue from products sold in his name. The deal marks a significant new chapter for the veteran forward.
