Arne Slot secures first job since Liverpool exit and rebuts speculation

According to Mirror Football, Dutch coach Arne Slot has taken his first post since being dismissed by Liverpool earlier this year. The appointment, confirmed by the club’s official channels, marks a swift return to management after a whirlwind two‑year spell at Anfield.

Slot addressed the media shortly after the announcement, stating that he is focused on the new challenge and that rumours about his next move had been “exaggerated”. He emphasized that his priority is to settle into the role and deliver results on the pitch.

During his tenure at Liverpool, Slot oversaw a mixed campaign, combining a strong start with a subsequent dip in form that ultimately led to his dismissal. The Dutch tactician left the club with a respectable win‑percentage but fell short of the expectations set by the board and supporters.

Fans of the new club can expect a manager who values proactive football and youth development, hallmarks of Slot’s previous successes in the Eredivisie. The appointment has already generated optimism ahead of the upcoming season.
