Roy Keane and Ian Wright Drenched by Wembley Sprinklers Before England‑Czechia Showdown

During the pre‑match build‑up for England's upcoming Nations League meeting with Czechia, ITV’s studio set at Wembley was buzzing with punditry. Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane and ex‑Arsenal striker Ian Wright joined presenter Mark Pougatch to dissect tactics and player form ahead of the fixture.

Mid‑analysis, a sprinkler system installed on the roof unexpectedly activated, drenching Keane, Wright and the studio floor. Both former internationals were seen scrambling off‑screen, laughing as water soaked their notes and microphones. The unplanned soak added a humorous twist to the otherwise serious preview, with Pougatch joking about the “rain‑check” on the studio floor.

England travel to the match day with the same determination they displayed on the set – albeit now dry. Fans can look forward to the England‑Czechia encounter later this week and find the full highlights on this site after the game.
