The GuardianTransfer roundup: Nottingham Forest seal £34m deal for Sporting’s Diomande
Nottingham Forest have signed Ousmane Diomande from Sporting for a reported £34.2m, according to The Guardian. The 22-year-old Côte d'Ivoire defender, who was part of his country's World Cup squad, has agreed a four-year deal with the option of a further year.
The move is one of several Premier League deals reported on the same day. Fulham have secured midfielder Shea Charles from Southampton for £30m, while Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has joined Ligue 1 side Strasbourg on loan.
Diomande becomes the latest addition to Forest's defensive line as the club looks to strengthen for the remainder of the season.
