Mykhailo Mudryk returns in Chelsea defeat as Milan pay tribute to Baresi

According to The Guardian, Mykhailo Mudryk made his long-awaited return for Chelsea on Wednesday, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Juventus in Hong Kong. It was the Ukrainian winger's first appearance for the club in nearly two years, following a doping ban.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso hailed Mudryk's return as “emotional,” with the player entering the match for Nicolas Jackson in the 82nd minute. His teammates applauded him and the 43,575 crowd at Kai Tak Sports Park gave him a loud reception.

In a separate friendly, Milan and Inter observed a minute's silence before their 1-1 draw, a tribute to Baresi.
