The GuardianMason Mount injury mars Man United's draw with PSG
According to The Guardian, Manchester United drew 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly in Gothenburg on Saturday, with Bryan Mbeumo scoring United's goal. The result, however, was overshadowed by an injury to Mason Mount.
The England midfielder started against PSG but was taken off after fewer than 20 minutes with a foot injury. Mount joined United from Chelsea in 2023 and has been hindered by injury problems since moving to Old Trafford.
United will hope the issue is not serious as they continue their pre-season preparations. Mbeumo's strike offered a positive note, but Mount's fitness remains a concern for the club and its supporters.
