Mirror FootballTottenham open Folarin Balogun talks, in potential boost for Arsenal
Tottenham have opened talks to sign Folarin Balogun, according to Mirror Football, with the former Arsenal striker emerging as a target for the north London club.
Spurs have already spent heavily this summer to overhaul their squad, but the report suggests they are not done yet and are now looking to bring Balogun back to the Premier League.
The move could hand Arsenal a major transfer boost, as the Gunners are believed to have inserted a sell-on clause when Balogun left the club. Any fee agreed by Tottenham could therefore trigger a payment to their rivals.
No agreement has been reached at this stage, and the talks are still in their early days. Still, the interest underlines Tottenham's continued activity in the transfer market.
