Mourinho namechecks Arteta while discussing Real Madrid vacancy

According to Mirror Football, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has spoken publicly about the club’s vacant coaching position, mentioning Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta in the process.

Mourinho highlighted Arteta’s decision to sign a new contract with the Gunners earlier this week, noting that the Spaniard’s commitment reflects a different career path than the one the former Portuguese coach is currently contemplating.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, who is yet to confirm any official link with Real Madrid, used the Arsenal appointment as a point of comparison while discussing his own future in the Spanish capital.

Mourinho’s comments come amid ongoing speculation about who will replace Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabéu, and fans of both clubs will be watching closely for any further developments.
