Dowman could thrive on Old Firm loan, says former England star

Arsenal's highly‑rated youngster Dowman has been linked with a temporary move to one of Scotland's Old Firm clubs, a scenario that could give the English prospect regular first‑team football.

According to BBC Sport, a former England international commented that a loan to either Celtic or Rangers would be "interesting" for Dowman, highlighting the chance to develop his tactical awareness and physical robustness in a competitive environment.

The Gunners have a track record of sending promising academy graduates on loan to help them gain experience, and the potential Old Firm spell fits that pattern. Such placements have previously accelerated the growth of players who later returned to make an impact at Arsenal.

Arsenal have not confirmed any details, and the situation remains speculative. Fans can stay tuned for updates and watch related match highlights on this site.
