The GuardianBarcelona sign Brazil forward Kerolin from Manchester City in club-record deal
Barcelona have signed Brazil forward Kerolin from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee, according to The Guardian. Sources suggest the deal is worth in the region of £1.25m, which would make it the largest sum received for a sale by a Women’s Super League side.
The move also represents a club-record signing for Barcelona. It eclipses the fees received by English clubs for Olivia Smith, who joined Arsenal from Liverpool for a reported £1m in 2025, and Melvine Malard, who moved from Manchester United to Chelsea for around £850,000 more recently.
Kerolin is a Brazil international forward and now becomes part of Barcelona’s squad. Further details of the transfer have not been disclosed. For related match highlights from Barcelona and other teams, readers can browse the footage available on this site.
