Arteta signs new contract with champions Arsenal

Arsenal confirmed on Thursday that manager Mikel Artura has signed a new contract that ties him to the club until 2030. The agreement comes after the Gunners secured the Premier League title for the first time in 14 years.

Speaking at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta described the new deal as a vote of confidence in the project he has built. "This is only the beginning," he said, adding that the club’s recent success will serve as a platform for further achievements both domestically and in Europe.

The contract renewal follows a season in which Arsenal combined a high‑pressing style with a youthful squad to clinch the league crown. While the manager avoided specifics about future transfer plans, he emphasized continuity and the importance of developing the academy talent that has become a hallmark of the team.
