Arsenal’s pursuit of Julian Álvarez stalls as striker reconsiders move

Arsenal’s interest in River Plate forward Julian Álvarez appears to have hit a snag. The Argentine striker, who was linked with a move to the North London side this summer, has reportedly changed his mind about completing the transfer.

Mirror Football says the club’s hierarchy has reached out to Álvarez’s camp to clarify the situation and explore whether the deal can still be salvaged. No further details on the timing or any financial terms have been disclosed, and both parties are said to be evaluating their options.

The development adds another twist to Arsenal’s summer activity as they continue to shape their squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign. Fans can catch related match highlights and analysis on this site as the story evolves.
